Privacy Policy

 

This Online and Mobile Privacy Policy (Policy) explains our practices with regard to the “Personal Identifiable Information” collected from visitors to our website and mobile applications at bookingmusic.co (collectively known as ‘Site’ or “Website”), operated by BOOKING MUSIC, LLC. (“Company”).

 

What information we collect and how we collect?

 

Traffic Data.

Company may collect a variety of visitor data such as IP addresses, browser settings, internet service provider (ISP) information, referring/exit pages, operating systems, date/time stamps, and clickstream data (collectively “Visitor Data”). Company’s internal servers and software automatically recognize Visitor Data. The Site may use Visitor Data to compile traffic data about the types of visitors who use the Site at specific intervals (collectively “Traffic Data”).

We may use Traffic Data to analyze Site traffic, but this information is not examined for Personally Identifiable Information. We may also use Traffic Data to diagnose problems with our server, administer our Site, or display content according to your preferences. Visitor Data and Traffic Data may also be shared with business partners, affiliates, or advertisers on an aggregated and anonymous basis.

 

Personal Information

Company requires each customer to provide us with personal information (collectively “Personally Identifiable Information”) to access and use Company products and services. Personally Identifiable Information is captured when a visitor accesses Online Services, or speaks on the phone with a LegalZoom employee, and willingly discloses that information. This disclosure may occur when a visitor registers with an Online Service, engages in transactions, contacts customer service, or participates in contests, promotions, surveys, forums, content submissions, requests for suggestions, or other aspects of services offered by Company.

Personally Identifiable Information includes but is not limited to: (i) “Contact Data” (such as your name, address, city, state, zip code, phone number, and email address); (ii) “Financial Data” (such as your credit card number, expiration date, and verification code or bank account information); (iii) “Demographic Data” (such as your zip code and sex); and (iv) other “Legal Data” (such as your social security number, mortgage information, automobile information, marital information, trade secrets, inventions, and idea submissions and other sensitive information necessary to generate legal documents).

Certain personal information becomes public record when documents are filed with the federal or state government, or with a court. For example, a corporation’s name, business address, and registered agent name become public information when its articles of incorporation are filed. A Secretary of State may publish this information to its website or provide this information to third parties for a fee. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office publishes the names and addresses of trademark registrants. In some states, fictitious business names, including the name and address of the business owner, must be published in a newspaper. The BOOKING MUSIC Privacy Policy does not cover these or similar third-party actions.

 

Cookies and Web Beacons

We, or our service providers, and other companies we work with may deploy and use cookies, web beacons, local shared objects and other tracking technologies for various purposes, such as fraud prevention and monitoring of our advertising and marketing campaign performance. Some of these tracking tools may detect characteristics or settings of the specific device you use to access our online services. Company uses tracking technologies to better analyze our customers’ needs. A cookie is a text script that is stored on the visitors hard-disk drive for record keeping and data storing of the visitors tracking on www.bookingmusic.co. The use of cookies allows us the verification of conversions. In no way does the use of cookies give us information regarding our customers or visitors. The use of cookies is an identifier tool strictly designed to better serve our customers’ needs which enhances our customers and visitors experience while using www.bookingmusic.co. If you do not want us to collect information using cookies, you can disable this function in your browser. If you block cookies from us, however, you may not be able to see personalized content and our website may not function optimally.

 

Children

Company provides additional protection for the privacy of children. The Company Web Sites are not designed or intended to attract children under the age of 13. The Company Web Sites do not collect Personal Information from any person we actually know is under the age of 13. A parent or guardian, however, may use Company web sites to input information from their children under the age of 13 such as: name, address, email address, account information, and content they create themselves. That information allows us to fulfill requested transactions, facilitate their participation in online activities, keep records, undertake certain marketing activities, or to otherwise customize or enhance the web site experience for children. The parent or guardian is solely responsible for providing supervision of the minor’s use of Company web sites. The parent or guardian assumes full responsibility for ensuring that the registration information is kept secure and that the information submitted is accurate. The parent or guardian also assumes full responsibility for the interpretation and use of any information or suggestions provided through Company web sites for the minor.

Regardless of what is displayed or submitted, parents can revoke their consent and ask that information about their children be hidden or, in some cases, deleted, by contacting our offices by phone at the number in the “contact us about privacy” section of this privacy policy statements.

 

Information from Other Sources

We may also collect information about you from additional online and offline sources including from social media activities, other nonprofits, and commercially available third-party sources. We may combine this information with the personal and other information we have collected about you.

We may also receive information about our customers or potential customers from other sources, including employers who have purchased our products on behalf of their employees.  In some instances, we may combine this data with information we already have or that we later receive from our customers.  This helps us to update, expand and analyze our records and to provide better service to customers. We will only use this information for the specific reasons that it was provided to us, which may include marketing related uses.  Examples of the types of Personally Identifiable Information that we may receive from third parties include Contact Data and Legal Data.

We may collect the information of 3rd party individuals as necessary, such as to ask our customers to indicate beneficiaries of a will, record shareholders of a company, or register authorized contacts to access their Booking Music account. Company uses this information for the sole purpose of administering its services for our customers, and does not use such information for any other reason.

How we protect your information?

Despite Company’s efforts to protect your Personal Information, there is always some risk that an unauthorized third party may find a way around our security systems or that transmissions of your information over the Internet may be intercepted.

The security of your Personal Information is important to us.  When you enter Personal Information (including personal health information in various tools on our website), we encrypt the transmission of that information or use SSL connections (Secure Socket Layer) technology.

We will retain your Personal Information as long as your account is active or needed to provide you services. At any time, you can remove your Personal Information or instruct us to remove it, but you should be aware that it is not technologically possible to remove each and every record of the information you have provided to Company from our servers. Company tools that collect and store Personal Information allow you to correct, update or review information you have submitted by going back to the specific tool, logging-in and making the desired changes. We will also retain your Personal Information as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

How we use your information?

Information collected by Company about you is used by Company to:

  • administer your account and our sites,
  • verify your identity (such as when you access your account information),
  • prevent fraud and enhancing the security of your account or our online services,
  • respond to your requests and communicating with you,
  • manage your preferences,
  • provide you with access to particular tools and services,
  • obtain your feedback about the Company web sites or our offerings,
  • statistically analyze trends and user behavior and activity including how frequently areas of the site are visited and how many emails are received and opened,
  • provide you and people with similar demographic characteristics and interests with more relevant content or advertising both on the Company web sites or on other web sites that you visit after you leave the Company web sites; and
  • send you personalized emails or secure electronic messages pertaining to your legal interests, including news, announcements, reminders and opportunities from Company; or
  • complying with and enforcing applicable legal requirements, relevant industry standards, contractual obligations and our policies;
  • for any other purposes that we may specifically disclose at the time you provide or we collect your information.

We may also use data that we collect on an aggregate or anonymous basis (meaning it does not identify any individuals) for various purposes, where permissible under applicable laws and regulations, to help deliver products, services, and content that are better tailored to the users of our online services and for other purposes.

What and with whom we disclose?

Except as described in this Privacy Policy or as specifically agreed to by you, Company will not disclose any Personal Information it gathers from you through the Company Web Sites. We may only release Personal Information to third parties: (1) to comply with legal requirements such as a law, regulation, search warrant, subpoena or court order; (2) when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request; or (3) in special cases, such as in response to a physical threat to you or others, to protect property or defend or assert legal rights. In addition, we may disclose Personal Information as described below. We may share Non-Personal Information that we have about you, including about your browsing activity on Company, with third party advertising service providers who may use this information, on our behalf, to help Company deliver advertising on the Company Web Sites as well as on other sites on the Internet.

In the event of a corporate change in control resulting from, for example, a sale to, or merger with, another entity, or in the event of a sale of assets or a bankruptcy, Company reserves the right to transfer your Personal Information to the new party in control or the party acquiring assets. In the event of such a change, your Personal Information will continue to be treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy unless any changes to the Privacy Policy are made in accordance with the section below that discusses “Changes to This Privacy Policy.”

Disclosures to Company Contractors

Company contractors sometimes have limited access to your Personal and Non-Personal Information in the course of providing products or services to Company. These contractors include vendors and suppliers that provide us with technology, services, data analysis, research, advertising and marketing assistance and/or content in connection with our operation and maintenance of the Company Web Sites. We contractually require that our contractors: 1) protect the privacy of your Personal and Non-Personal Information consistent with this Privacy Policy and 2) not use or disclose your Personal or Non-Personal Information for any purpose other than providing the limited service or function for Company.

Disclosures to Third Party Web Sites

We may provide links to websites that are owned or operated by others (“third-party websites”).  When you use a link online to visit a third-party website, you will be subject to that website’s privacy and security practices, which may differ from ours. You should familiarize yourself with the privacy policy, terms of use and security practices of the linked third-party website before providing any information on that website.

 

What choices do I have about my information?

If you do not want your Personal Information used by Company as provided in this Privacy Policy, you should not register as a member or for any specific tool or application that collects Personal Information. You may correct, update or review Personal Information you have submitted through registration, tools and applications by signing in and updating your registration information. If you have registered and no longer want Company to use your Personal Information, please contact us using the contact information listed below. Upon your request, we will delete your Personal Information from our active databases and where feasible from our back-up media. You should be aware that it is not technologically possible to remove each and every record of the information you have provided to the Company Web Sites from our servers.

Most browser software can be set to reject Cookies. Most browsers offer instructions on how to reset the browser to reject Cookies in the “Help” section of the toolbar. If you reject our Cookies, certain of the functions and conveniences of the Company Web Sites may not work properly but you do not have to accept our Cookies in order to productively use the Company Web Sites.

Changes to this privacy policy

 

We may change this Online Privacy Statement from time to time.  When we do, we will let you know by appropriate means such as by posting the revised policy on this page with a new “Last Updated” date.  In some cases, you may be asked to agree again to our Privacy Policy or other terms, even if you have already agreed to accept them, because there were changes. Any changes to this Online Privacy Statement will become effective when posted unless indicated otherwise.
